Basic Qualifications

-Bachelors Degree in Business Finance, Accounting, Economics, Information Technology, or Computer Science.  MBA or Masters in related is highly desirable. 

-7 years of professional experience

-Experience working with audits under SOX

-Current CPA

-5 Years of Audit experience (internal or external)

-5+ years of Public Accounting Experience

-Experience working with companies of 1 Billion + in revenue or greater

-Leadership, Judgment, Negotiation, Assertivness

-Experience adjudication audit issues and requirements with external auditors

 

Preferred Qualifications

-Experience working with Government Contractors, Defense experience or aerospace experience.

 

Job Description

Manage financial and operational audits by preparing accounting, statistical, or operational records and/or procedures of internal and/or external organizations to determine the reliability and effectiveness of financial and control systems, material assets, net worth, liabilities, capital stock, surplus, income, and expenditures.  Runs DLAA Audits,.

Examines records to ensure proper recording of transactions and compliance with applicable laws, agreements, and policies. 

Prepare status reports of findings and remediation plans to management.

May include auditing activities under Sarbanes Oxley (SOX).  May support divisions and subsidiaries in evaluating and recommending improvements to business practice, processes, and control procedures.
