Optimization Technologies has an opening for a motivated candidate seeking a challenging and diverse opportunity as a Software Sales Representative for our OpMessaging network communications software and related software development services.  Optimization Technologies continues to add to our software product line and service offerings, providing the creative Sales Representative the ability to achieve ever higher compensation levels.  We are seeking a career-minded individual with a proven track record of selling software and software development services, high energy, confidence and a strong desire to achieve a high level of success. Responsibilities include business results (revenue and signings), client satisfaction and profit generation.  Successful candidates will manage sales strategies, sales process, and contract negotiations in an environment of changing client needs and must have high level client relationships, ensure high customer satisfaction and generate follow-on engagements.

Responsibilities include: Developing new business/government clientele leads and opportunities Selling & Closing Sales of Hardware, Software and/or Services in the range of $100K - $ 1M Implementing creative ideas to generate leads Lead presentations and product demonstrations Participate in pricing and contract negotiations Ensure excellent customer service for all customers Document all sales contacts and initiatives Assist in the development of marketing strategies and materials Follow up with clientele National and international travel to potential customers Attend conferences and tradeshow events and serve as a visible marketing representative Provide prospect and market feedback to relevant segments of the organization Assist in product development and service offering expansion strategies

The ideal candidate would possess the following: 5+ years of IT, large ticket, and commission sales experience a requirement Proven sales track record in B2B and B2G relationships Consultative solution selling experience New business development experience Revenue Signings The ability to cold call Team focused-attitude Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills Positive outgoing attitude with a competitive drive and self-motivated work ethic Ability to work effectively with little supervision Strong computer skills with a general understanding of network operating systems US Citizenship or USPR (green card); Ability and willingness to travel Valid drivers license in good standing B.S. or B.A. in Business or Information Science or MBA
