Software Test Engineer/Analyst

Tasks will include: * Coordinating laboratory hardware and software configuration development and integration;* Defining test strategies, plans, procedures, and reports; * Performing test execution, data collection, extraction and analysis; * Initiating and analysis problem reports and change proposals;* Executing automated test and software analysis tools;* Assessing system and software level requirement specifications, software design, interface design, test, and other development related documentation as needed* Participating in relevant JLENS IPTs/CPTs; and* Interfacing with customers, users, and JLENS development teams as necessary.Additional experience in one or more of the following areas is desirable: 1) Army Air Defense C2 Systems, 2) Tactical Data Links with emphasis on Link-16, or 3) military tactical data radios specifically MIDS/JTIDS. Computer Skills Needed: Applicant should have working knowledge of multiple computer operating systems (e.g. Windows, UNIX/Linux, AIX) and the C++ and/or Java software languages. The ability to develop automated test drivers/scripts and data extraction/analysis routines as well as experience with commercially available analysis tools such as MatLab is desired. Familiarity with software applications or tools such as Matlab, Clearcase, Rational tools (Rational System Developer, ClearCase, etc), and KlocWorks is a plus. Expertise in developing deliverables using Microsoft products to include Word, PowerPoint, and Excel is required.QualificationsEducation: A minimum of a Bachelor?s degree from an accredited college/university in Engineering, Physics, Math, Computer Science, Management/Computer Information Systems or related discipline is required. This position requires a minimum of 16 years of experience in performing the essential duties listed above.
