Software Engineer (clearance required)
The successful candidate will provide Software Engineering Support to the Littoral Surveillance Radar System (LSRS). This position is located in Dallas, TX
Education:
A BS in a software discipline or a technical BS with comparable work experience in the software field is required. Graduate degree in information systems, systems engineering, or engineering management is desired.
Experience:
Test and Acquisition experience is desired. Familiarity with ADA is also desired. A minimum of five (5) years of software engineering experience is required. Proficiency with UNIX is also required. Must be able to communicate clearly in writing and be proficient in document generation.
Knowledge, skills and abilities:
Specific tasks include interfacing with Navy and partner customers to provide software development processes oversight for radar system development and production. Must be able to evaluate component and system level testing. Position will require familiarity with federal acquisition documents (i.e. CDD, SOW, etc...) and support development of system requirements documentation, requirements management methods and procedures.
Applicant selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. A Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) completed within the past five years is required.
