Software Engineer, User Interface Software (L099)
Solidus Technical Solutions is looking for an experienced Software Engineer to develop data management and user interface software for the development of situational awareness/common operating picture systems to support wildland firefighting operations.
Experience with rapid prototyping and software integration is necessary to the success of the program, as well as experience with object-oriented design, programming in Java, and familiarity with user interface development and service-oriented architectures.
Experience with database design and management is desired with PostgreSQL experience preferred. Experience with web-based service-oriented architectures is also desired, including familiarity with Javascript and AJAX.
Requirements:
MS or BS, plus 3-5 years (min.) experienceRapid prototyping and software integration object oriented design and programming in Java familiar with user interface development and service-oriented architectures. These are the minimum requirements.
Most positions with Solidus Technical Solutions require U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain a Department of Defense security clearance.
