Yoh Aviation has a contract opportunity for a Software Engineer to join our customer in San Jose, CA.

Active Top Secret Required.

The engineering team will develop Mission Management SW consisting of new, reused, modified and tool generated lines of code. Based on a project tasking plan the SW needs to be able to:
• Create MMI to create/validate project tasking plan
• Task/control hardware interfaces
• Accept data inputs from various sources
• Correlate and validate the data from the various sources
• Transmit the correlated data to external sources
• Have the ability to view the data sent to various sources to validate their format/correlation, etc.
• Store data at various stages to validate processing

The Software Engineer will design and develop real-time signal processing software, develop test cases, perform hardware-to-software and software-to-software integration and when necessary, perform demonstrations.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 2 years experience.
• Entry-level to Mid-level Software Engineer with object-oriented software development experience.
• Experience in OO languages - C/C++ and Java.
• Software development on MS Windows & UNIX-based operating systems (Linux, Solaris).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Mature, self-motivated and able to work well in a group environment.

Assets:
• Experience with Internet technologies (HTTP, SOAP, XML, Apache, Tomcat and Web Services).
• Portals development.
• Experience in Clearcase.
• Experience with service oriented architecture (SOA).
