Software Engineer III - EmbeddedDescription: Engineering assignments to develop, verify and validate software for scoring systems. Will also perform software design/analysis under the direction of project leads and participate in the assigned software subsystem activities from requirements through system integration and test phase.This position requires experience with Digital Signal Processing (DSP) on an embedded real-time platform. 3+ years experience developing embedded real-time software including performing requirement, design, and test activities throughout the development cycle as well as documentation, test plans and procedures, trade studies, and risk analysis.Hands-on experience in developing DSP algorithms, modeling and simulation in MATLAB or similar tools. Experience in module hardware design of RF systems.Be proficient using instruments such as logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, etc.Experience in FPGA design and working knowledge of TCP/IP networking and XML technologies a plus.Strong oral and written communication skills.Embedded real-time DSP, device driver, and microcontroller software development using modern development tools such as Visual DSP.Digital hardware design.Domain expertise in C, C++ and STL as well as industry standard software development practices and methodologies.
