Full Time, Temporary/Contract/Project Job Category: IT/Software Development Relevant Work Experience: 5+ to 7 Years Career Level: Experienced (Non-Manager) Education Level: Bachelor's Degree Software Engineer  CMMI, Configuration Management JOB DUTIES: Software Engineers with experience in infrastructure and isolation layer software, real time programming, software hardware integration, device drivers, operating system configuration and control. Responsible for requirements analysis, software design, coding, integration and testing (including support to flight test) of software for the AEW&C programs. Principal tasks will range from initial design and software development through laboratory integration and problem resolution in support of developmental testing, formal testing and flight test. Familiarity with life-cycle software processes, CMMI and lab environment testing.JOB SKILLS: Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry and typically 5 to 8 years experience in an engineering classification or either a Master's degree with 3 to 6 years experience or a PhD degree with 0 to 3 years experience in an engineering classification. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
