CEM is looking for a Site Technical Service Engineer for our Anaheim, CA facility. The responsibilities include:Provide CEM technical service support to targeted customers such as various Boeing companies and their subcontractors. Identify and lead resolution of CEM material issues in customer shops and internal to the plant for assigned products and as needed.Coordinate significant Key X activities including  product qualification activities and miscellaneous Orange plant product screening/Qualification/introductions.Advise customers on processing and properties of CEM products especially phenolic products and solvated product line.  Contact levels will range from shop floor mechanics to senior management  in procurement, engineering, research/development, quality, and manufacturing areas. Identify potential new applications for CEM products and support Account Managers in capturing new business, assessing market trends, and evaluating competitor's materials.Lead and/or coordinate material selection, screening, qualification, configuration and product introduction activities. Coordinate miscellaneous fabric supplier qualifications for glass and kevlar products and coordinate with customers for PCD, and Advance Change Notices.  Support and/or lead targeted projects in CEM or customer shops.  Areas to include product configuration, capability, cost reductions, Lean Manufacturing, etc.Coordinate conformance and specification issues between CEM Orange (primarily) and customers.

Qualifications: BS level Engineering or Science degree requiredKnowledge of CEM products and their applications Experience resolving product and process capability issues in customer applications Demonstrated experience working directly with customers including: problem solving, technical presentations, project management, relationship building and identification of new opportunities Understanding of the Composites industry including programs, materials, quality systems, testing requirements, statistics and SPC, etc.
