Site Security Specialist (Special Access Program Security)

This is a multi-faceted security position requiring a qualified security professional. The position will require the individual to function in a high profile, fast-paced position supporting multiple programs both in the DoD and Special Program environment. Requires the security professional to create, maintain, and leverage working relationships with both internal and external customers, peers, and senior management. This position is customer-oriented and the applicant must possess strong interpersonal skills to make decisions and take independent action to exceed the expectations of the customer. This position must possess a professional attitude and the ability to communicate effectively with both written and oral communications. Primary responsibility will be to assist lead security professionals in the daily performance of their duties. Must maintain personnel records, register documents, prepare correspondence, prepare mail, assist with badging, process and approve visits, prepare classified for destruct, and send and receive faxes and electronic data transfers as well as other requested duties.
