Signals Vulnerability/Tempest Analyst
EWA Government Systems Inc., San Antonio Texas, has an immediate opening for an experienced Signals Vulnerability/Tempest Analyst to conduct emissions security of systems under test. The Analyst will be responsible for all test planning, logistics requirements, test set-up and execution and report writing.This position requires an experienced Emissions security Signals Analyst to conduct signals search, data collection RF emissions, conduct an analysis of those emissions, and draft vulnerability studies and reports.The Analyst will be required to configure collection and analysis equipment, maintain that equipment, propose various suites of tools and configurations to conduct a variety of emissions security testing. A variety of intercept equipment and computer analysis tools are available to conduct the mission. Expected deployments are generally one week at a time about once a month.
Course completion certificates issued by the National Tempest School at Lackland AFB are required in their Laboratory Testing Course (testing in accordance with NTISSAM Temptest/1-92) and NONSTOP Testing course (testing in accordance with CNNS Tempest/1-92) are required for this position. Familiarity with all Tempest testing documentation requirements is also required. A minimum of 5-10 years of tempest testing is needed to meet the subject matter expert criteria in this area.
