Senior Systems Test Engineer
Primary Responsibility
Senior Systems Test Engineer is responsible for providing support to DISA Net-Enabled Command Capability (NECC) Test Evaluation and Piloting (T&E and Piloting) team. Provides technical and programmatic support to the T&E branch, as well as other NECC branches requiring test services. Coordinates with community test directorates to ensure overall, synchronized testing support. Attends technical meetings, workshops, conferences and program reviews as required. Integrates T&E requirements and documentation into the Systems Engineering Process. Coordinates with systems developers to communicate test results and resolve defects. Prepares/reviews MS Powerpoint presentations and papers for the branch chief and cognizant program managers. Principal work location: Skyline Complex, Falls Church, VA.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:
Demonstrated testing or operations manager experience with thorough knowledge of Joint C4ISR (GCCS-FoS) programs. Ranging knowledge of various test development systems, engineering processes and principles. Ability to take complex test engineering issues and condense to understandable concepts understood by non-technical as well as technical personnel. Mastery of MS Office suite of tools. Experience at DISA and with the TEMP development process a huge plus.
Position requires a Bachelor’s Degree and/or eight years of equivalent experience.
MUST hold an active or current (within 2 years) Secret Security Clearance.
