Senior Staff Officer - CR Division
Description:Serves in the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Office of Intelligence and Analysis (I&A), Collection Requirements Management Division (CR) as a Senior Staff Officer reporting directly to the Division Director her Deputy responsible for: (1)assisting in the development and implementation of stratgegic enterprise-wide intelligence and integration initiatives and (2) analyzing a variety of information. The incumbent provides CR senior leadership: (1) accurate, comprehensive, and actionable information to make informed decisions by researching issues, assessing alternatives, drafting and coordinationg position papers or statements, crafting informational briefings, assisting in the preparation of speeches, media and/or Congressional responses; (2)preparing and providing preparatory material for and participating in senior leadership meetings; and (3) providing intelligence guidance for contingency operations, operational-level planning, and multi-lateral training exercises, including support to DHSHQ, its components, and Communities of Interest (COIs) [i.e., federal, state, local, tribal, territorial, private sector, and international partners]. He/she must: (1) possess extensive knowledge of the Intelligence Community (IC) and its processes, in particular, pertaining to all-source intelligence integration; (2) possess the ability to conduct liaison with representatives of the IC, including committees, working and steering groups; (3) possess excellent organizational, teaming, and communication skills with the ability to articulate vision and purpose, both strategic and tactical; and (4) possess extensive experience and confidence in dealing effectively with senior leadership. The incumbent also interprets current and proposed IC policies, procedures, standards, guidelines, and objectives, as they relate to DHS, and advises senior leadership of their implications.TS/SCIQualifications:A minimum of 9 years experience with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional work experience.
