The ideal candidate will responsible for the following: Interfaces with customers, Regulatory and Quality Standards personnel to maintain/attain requirements and certifications. Utilizes lean / six sigma (advanced quality) tools to evaluate company or supplier products and processes. Participates in cross-functional efforts to ensure proper corrective actions are implemented in a timely manner. Maintains quality data records, compiles information, and prepares reports for internal and external customers. Performs product audits in accordance with company / customer / industry standards, reports results, assigns and monitors follow-up actions. Administers an effective evaluation and audit program for the company or its supply base to ensure conformance to Industry and company process and product requirements. Mentors Quality Technicians to the Quality Management System. Applies quality standards for receiving, in-process and final inspection in accordance with the company and contractual requirements. Mentors, trains, assesses, and qualifies inspection (audit) personnel on workmanship standards and business and quality management systems. Assists in the preparation of bids and proposals. REQUIRED SKILLS: Associate's Degree in applicable technical field and nine years related experience. Or, in the absence of a degree, 12 years related experience.
