Senior Information Assurance Analyst TS/SCI

This position is located in our VA, Arlington facilityThis applicant shall analyze incidents across Federal agency boundaries conducting strategic analysis of traffic traversing the Internet backbone, notifying customers of impending threats. The applicant will be part of a 24x7x365 analysis team and will be performing net flow analysis utilizing COTS/GOTS products for both Civil and Federal customers. The incumbent of this position oversees the analysis of nationwide cyber security technology, projects, frameworks, systems, and networks to secure, strengthen, and maintain cyber security in a rapidly changing and complex environment with time-sensitive requirements. Using open source data, vulnerability information, and net flow data, the incumbent shall provide correlation of events of interest and produce reports for review by senior level planners. In addition to specific technical background and knowledge, strong verbal and written communication skill are required in order to provide in depth briefings on products utilized to Federal / Civil customers and at security conferences. The incumbent coordinates information sharing efforts across Federal, State, local, and tribal entities, US critical infrastructure, private sector organizations, and the international community. The candidate shall be able to apply critical thinking to address emerging issues of national and international scope in the area of cyber security and critical infrastructure protection. The incumbent will lead the process of writing standard operating procedures and analysis documentation and direct efforts to develop and draft concept papers, technical white papers, detailing best information security practices for implementation across the Federal and Civil communities. Some limited travel may be required. Expert knowledge of Information Assurance discipline is required. All applicants shall possess a Top Secret / Secure Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance and maintain that level of access. Clearances shall be verifiable through GDIT Security. All applicants must meet and maintain DHS suitability requirements. Requires BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Assurance, or related field .Requires 10-15 years experience. Advanced degrees may lessen the years of experience as applicable.The applicatant is slotted to be a lead Einstine analyst for the customer. 2-5 years direct experience with networking monitoring technology including vulnerability detection, IDS/IPS scanners, penetration testing, and netflow analysis.Submit Your Resume Online Now
