Senior HR Business PartnerCorona, CA Progressive HR practices in a lean manufacturing company striving to be best in class! This is an amazing career opportunity for a top notch Senior HR Business Partner to be part of an organization where HR is valued, great performance is recognized and ample opportunities for professional development will be at your fingertips.  How does it get any better than this?  Top it off with a stellar Hiring Manager that will stretch you professionally and expose you to a multitude of unique HR experiences!  Not to mention you will be part of a leading aircraft components and sub systems manufacturing company that is in an ambitious growth mode – not in a maintenance mode!!! Are you up for the challenges…and the rewards? About The Position… In this fast paced and challenging position, you will be responsible for… · Leading site performance management initiatives including: goal deployment, mid-year and annual-review process, promotions and talent review using 9 cell/blocker.  Assisting managers in addressing performance issues, providing guidance on effective coaching and counseling.  When necessary, working with managers to outline appropriate counseling and disciplinary steps to help employees be successful.  Serving as a resource to employees and leaders in facilitating the resolutions of internal issues and conflicts.· Implementing best practices in the recruitment of “A” players and the on-boarding process.  Developing competency based job descriptions and recruitment process.  Partnering with management to develop and executive plans that optimize talent, structure, process and culture.  Ensuring lean applicant flow process and compliance with Affirmative Action Programs and FAA requirements.  Analyzing programs to determine effectiveness and to ensure compliance with government regulations and company policies. · Creating and maintaining a positive employment environment that encourages employee understanding, participation and contribution to the growth and well-being of the business.  Communicating and educating employees at all levels on the Company’s culture, policies and practices thereby fostering an employee environment that encourages and provides for open and productive communications.· Participating in annual salary reviews and administration.  Providing band and salary recommendations based on internal equity and competitiveness in the market.  Overseeing internal movement of employees, including transfers and promotions.  Assisting managers in compensation and related communications.· Providing and developing common systems and metrics to track and measure results.  Assisting in the implementation of business process and/or technology solutions at the business unit and analyzing current process flows making suggestions for lead process improvements and implementing changes accordingly.· Serving as a change agent by leading and sponsoring programs that encourage flexibility, productivity and efficiency across the organization.  Building collaborative, trusting and credible relationships throughout the organization.  Providing support and technical direction to assure that HR is viewed a business partner and an excellent source of problem resolution, teamwork support, fairness and diversity.  Interacting with all levels of employees on a daily basis to provide information, troubleshooting issues and clarify policies.· Overseeing and ensuring data integrity of the HRIS system, appropriate approvals and timely processing of all transactional requests.  Preparing both standard and custom reports on a monthly or as needed basis for HR Team and Management.· Ensuring compliance of administration and maintenance of records for special programs such as: Employment Training Panel (ETP) state funded training and “Training and Proficiency Assessment” program, as required by CP-18, to ensure that all employees receive appropriate ISO required training.· Processing all leaves of absences and COBRA, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations such as FMLA, CRFA and Company policy and procedures.  Analyzing processes and procedures to ensure compliance with government regulations and company policies.· Ensuring Worker’s Compensation and Leave of Absence compliance with federal and state regulations and Company policy and procedures.  Preparing and processing required paperwork, preparing metrics and is a company representative on status calls with insurance carrier.  Analyzing programs to determine effectiveness and implement revisions as needed.· Liaising with recruiters and external agencies to fill open positions, as necessary. Coordinating and building strong university intern partnerships. Establishes rotational programs with management. To be immediately and seriously considered for this amazing opportunity, you must have the following: · Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university.  Masters Degree preferred.  PHR or SPHR certification is a plus.· Five to seven years related generalist experience in a manufacturing/distribution setting.· Knowledge of California HR laws.· Experience in the following will be a compelling, competitive advantage: Lean Manufacturing Operations; Six Sigma methods and problem solving tools; TPS.  Black Belt or Green Belt certified.
