Establish and maintain site safety programs to meet or exceed standards set by the National Ranges. Required Qualifications:A 4-year/Bachelors technical degree is required, as a minimum. In addition, at least eight years of aerospace range/systems-safety experience is required. Ability to travel (up to 20% at times) and support alternate shifts during integration phase of implementation.Proficiency in office software (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Project)Expert status with flight system safety requirements, range safety requirements.Effective at identifying root causes of problems, ad developing/implementing corrective actionsExcellent interpersonal skills required (communication, conflict resolution, etc)Strong knowledge of flight hardware and software development and implementation of hazard mitigationsPreferred Qualifications:Professional Safety and/or Systems Engineering accreditations.Must be effective when interfacing with suppliers, and internal or external customersExperience developing hazard reports and safety packages compliant to Range Safety requirementsExcellent presentation skills required.
