Bring your talent and skills to the following IDS group: EDD: Raytheon's Electronic Design Directorate (EDD) provides engineering design, integration and production to core radar, sonar, torpedo and combat system competencies including process and control, integration and test, power systems, torpedo and sonar electronics, receivers and exciters, antennas and microwave subassemblies. The Receiver, Exciter and Signal processing Department in the EDD has opportunities in the following areas: *Receiver & Exciter Design - Receiver-Exciter System Analysis, Exciter Design, Receiver Design, Low Noise Sources, Simulation and Modeling, Metrology, Integration and Test *Mixed Signal Design - Receiver A/D Converters, Direct Digital Converters, Receiver D/A Converters, Digital Waveform Generators, Mixed Signal CCAs, Mixed Signal Modules and Subsystems Job Description This position is for a Senior Electrical Engineer I, capable of solving a wide range of difficult technical problems with imaginative solutions in the areas of microwaves, RF, analog and mixed signal circuits. Responsibilities will include sub-system and circuit design; modeling, simulation and analysis. The candidate must have demonstrated an understanding and application of technical theories, and concepts in the field. Basic Qualifications - Experience designing Microwave, RF, Analog and Mixed Signal Circuits - Experience in waveform generation, synthesizer and receiver design - Experienced in simulation and analysis of upconverters and downconverters - Experience using high speed A/D and D/A converters Minimum of 4 years experience required Required Education - BSEE, MSEE preferred Desired Qualifications: * Ou tstanding academic credentials - Experience in Radar Receiver-Exciter design - Experience in high dynamic range and ultra wide bandwidth receivers - Experience in low phase noise system design - Understanding of Digital Signal Processing techniques and simulation - Outstanding communications skills - A strong team player Raytheon is an equal opportunity employer and considers qualified applicants for employment without regard to race, color, creed, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, age, disability, or Vietnam era, or other eligible veteran status, or any other protected factor.
