Senior Biomedical Scientist / Engineer

Senior scientist or engineer to lead projects on counter-terrorism and force protection research in human vulnerability to primary blast, blunt trauma, ballistic, fragment, toxic and thermal threats. The successful candidate must relocate to the San Antonio, Texas area by September of 2008. This position is contingent upon award of a multi-year government contract, which we are confident will occur shortly. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to market and lead technical programs involving computational modeling, testing and data analysis. Customer interface and out-of-town travel will be required. The selected applicant will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. ARA is an EEO/AA employer. · Masters Degree, M.D. or Ph.D. in biomedical engineering, trauma, orthopedics, epidemiology, or biology · US citizenship required, as a security clearance and related investigation will be initiated immediately upon hiring. · 10+ years experience. · Demonstrated marketing abilities, leadership and management capability, organizational skills, technical writing skills, and interpersonal skills. · Demonstrated ability and desire to work both autonomously and in a teaming environment.
