Senior Administrative Officer

Overview
Capstone's Military / Civil Operations division is currently seeking a motivated and talented individual with the knowledge, skills, and experience for a Senior Administrative Officer in San Diego, CA.

Responsibilities
• Provides Senior Administrative Operational Support to Intelligence Agency.
• Maintains appropriate records and serves as the office point of contact in the following areas:  acquisition, accountability, overtime funds, travel funds, supplies, equipment, space allocation, and expendables necessary for the orderly conduct of operations.
• Drafts, processes, catalogs, files, and maintains correspondence, messages, and other documentation. Activities include: word processing, typing, editing, marking classifications, preparing envelopes, annotating writer information; assembling completed correspondence and documents for review, approval and signature; making copies; retaining office copies; and placing them in official files; preparing classified mail and packages for the Defense Courier Service.
• Serves as an assistant to the COMSEC (Communication Security Custodian), hand receipt holder and office Security Officer (SO).
• Establishes expertise on current Department of Defense (DoD) regulations and established procedures, and draft new procedures as required for government approval. Sub-tasks shall include keeping abreast of and annotating changes to those documents.
• Maintains up-to-date databases. Performs database management support including: requests and associated paperwork, database (Basic) development and population, integration of imagery files into databases, and other systems to support, track and monitor actions.
• Maintains records of equipment, housing, property, security, supplies, and vehicle accountability, maintenance, and related records. Receives and processes reports.
• Serves as a Deployment Manager, responsible for coordinating the in-processing of personnel for worldwide deployments.
• Supervises and coordinates requests for travel orders, training, pay advances, security clearances, and issuance of logistic and field equipment.
• Coordinates with DoD and non-DoD support agencies on behalf of the field elements
• Performs other duties as assigned in support of the Staff Management Division.

Qualifications
• Must possess a working knowledge of policies and procedures governing travel of DoD personnel, oversight of highly classified materials, which includes security regulations and directives, and DoD and Record Management System.
• A minimum of 5 years of recent administrative or operational support experience with intelligence agencies.
• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
