Security Systems Analyst

3D Research Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of Schafer Corporation has an opportunity for a Security Systems Analyst to work in Aberdeen, MD.

 

The successful candidate should have a strong understanding of the Department of Defense Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP).

This position is responsible for all aspects of the DIACAP workflow.

 

*  Managing and maintaining all documentation associated with the DIACAP.

* Possess strong technical knowledge to work independently, yet willing to work as part of a team to meet common goals.

* Have a strong background with configuration and operation of network scanning utilities as well as the ability to interpret scan results.

* A history in successfully interacting with the customer and the ability to communicate technical information in a non-technical manner.

The following knowledge skills and attributes required:


*  A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline.

* 2 years minimum experience.
* Willing and able to maintain and manage the workflow and documentation associated with The DIACAP.

* Willing and able to handle multiple tasks at the same time.
* Knowledge of Army regulations regarding host hardening and network security is also required.
* Must be able to obtain a secret security clearance.
* Must be able to interface with the customer, explain procedures and provide progress reports.
