This position will support the SAP enterprise implementation program at Goodrich. Position covers SAP Sales and Distribution functional areas, specifically in the area of service processing. This position is responsible for SAP design, system configuration, testing, development of training material, training, conversion, go live and ongoing user support. Up to 70% travel may be needed depending on project location and phase.
Essential Responsibilities:
Project Team and Enterprise Interaction: Work with other project team members and appropriate business departments to identify appropriate business solutions and resolve specific issues for SAP implementations.
Documentation and Communication: Utilize standard SAP Program documentation, reports and communication as appropriate to project role. Create specific documentation or reports as appropriate to project being implemented. Communicate with other IT, competency Center and business groups as required.
Testing and Configuration: Be responsible for testing and configuration of SAP for a specific project and business or IT function. This will be process functionality for existing business analysts, or data conversion/interfaces for an IT Programmer/Analyst.
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related business field required. Minimum 3 years SAP systems experience and detailed knowledge of business processes for the Sales and distribution areas (specifically in the area of service processing). At least 2 years SAP experience in Service Management and RAS orders. Experience in writing functional specifications and configuration. Prior SAP project implementation experience desired and valuable (within the last 5 years). Strong problem solving skills and ability of working with minimal supervision necessary. Excellent written and verbal communication skills a must. Understanding of business processes and the resulting systems implementation. Some technical ability to configure SAP applications for example notification types, serial number profile, and RRB. Knowledge of a reporting tool (ABAP queries and BW)) helpful. Competence in general PC business applications such as Excel, Word, Outlook, Access necessary. Ability to work with various levels of business people and communicate/train in systems functionality. Aerospace and Defense experience a plus.
Other areas: service notifications, stock determination, RRQ/RRB, LSMW, query writing, forms, and debugging.
