SAFETY ANALYST
Description:
· Perform hazard and accident analyses for nuclear, chemical, and other production and research facilities using industry and government recognized methods.
· Identify and develop appropriate and effective hazard controls for implementation.
Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline, preferably Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Nuclear, or Industrial Engineering; or a safety discipline. A Certified Safety Professional certification is a plus. From 5 to 20 years experience providing safety analysis or safety management support to industrial or government manufacturing, processing, or research facilities. Must be a U.S. citizen eligible for a government security clearance. An existing Department of Energy “Q” clearance is preferred.
