Recruiting & Staffing Intern

We are currently seeking an undergraduate-level Recruiting & Staffing Intern. The selected individual will be required to work a minimum of 20 hours per week on an ongoing basis. Work will be conducted between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. weekdays, but may be determined based upon scheduling needs of selected individuals. We are looking to fill the position immediately. Recruiting & Staffing Intern will provide recruiting support through the following activities: - Create offer letters - Assist with new hire orientation - Process status changes and record maintenance - Prepare correspondence and schedule meetings and provide appropriate replies to telephone and email queries - Coordinate special projects as assigned - Assist with planning events for Battelle's internship program - Track candidate progress through background process completion - Prepare interview packages/materials - Prepare and gather materials for Career events - Provide follow-up information to Managers and Candidates (as needed) - Participate in College career events as Battelle representative (as needed) Required Qualifications: - Currently enrolled in College/University, pursuing Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field. - Minimum of Junior Class Standing - 2 years of work experience in customer service-oriented position - Ability to maintain work schedule of 20 hours per week for the next 12 months - Demonstrated Web Research and Computer experience, including proficiency with MS Outlook, Word, and Excel. - Advanced verbal and written communication skills required - Ability to prioritize and take direction from multiple sources is required Preffered Qualifications: - Experience in the use of Peoplesoft and Power Point software
