Will develop requirements documents for Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) Operational Test Agency (OTA) assessment of BMDS and BMDS Elements (SBX) radar systems and their interfaces to BMDS Element GMD Fire Control (GFC) systems in flight tests, ground tests, exercises, and constructive simulations. Will participate in BMDS-related test and exercise planning working groups and provide BMDS OTA input and recommendations. Will analyze BMDS and BMDS Element radar performance in tests and exercises, identify critical issues related to differences between operational performance and requirements, and assess impact on BMDS performance, effectiveness, and Warfighter functions. Will provide written reports and briefings on test results. Will use in-depth knowledge of radar systems and impacts of natural and man-made environments on radar performance in live, model, and simulation environments to support accreditation of radar models and simulations used in integrated and distributed ground tests, exercises, and digital simulation-only performance assessments. Will assist in the development, coordination, and publishing of BMDS OTA products such as Operational Assessment Plan, Operational Assessment Report, M&S Accreditation Plan, M&S Accreditation Report, Data Management and Analysis Plan, and Dendritic. Must work independently, with minimum guidance, using self-generated long term goals. Basic Requirements: BS Engr, Math, Physical Sciences (advanced degree desired). Background in BMD radar system analysis is required. 5-8 years experience; additional experience can substitute for education. Prior experience working for/with MDA or OSD or Service RDT&E organizations desired. Test and Evaluation background desired. Other Requirements: Excellent written and verbal skills.
