RSTS Technician (Level 4)
Alaska Aerospace Development Corporation is soliciting applications for a RSTS Technician (Level 4). The position is located at the Kodiak Launch Complex in Kodiak, Alaska.
Minimum Qualifications:
10-years in design and development (including testing) and practical applied experience is required.
Extensive experience required in the design, development, and test of range instrumentation systems, operating procedures, and operations including data receiving, recording, processing and distribution in both unclassified and classified modes.
DoD aerospace experience preferred.
Responsibilities:
Under the direction of the Range Safety and Telemetry System (RSTS) Supervisor, this position oversees all maintenance and repairs to the RSTS and provides quality assurance. Serves as the RSTS Maintenance Lead and is responsible for ensuring the RSTS maintenance schedule and Enterprise Asset Management system procedures are followed and all documentation is current.
Duties include working with the RSTS Supervisor to assure both RSTS systems are fully mission-ready; maintaining, repairing, and configuring systems for launch support; and completing upgrades to support customer space vehicle launches.
DoD Secret Security Clearance required.
