R08 - Manufacturing Engineer

MPC Products Corp, an Industry leader in the design and production of Aerospace Motion Control systems seeks an Manufacturing Engineer to join our Manufacturing Engineering team. The successful Manufacturing Engineer will review new and existing designs for manufacturability this includes verifying manufacturing methods, special process methods and inspection criteria for cost and feasibility. Will provide technical support to MPC Fab-Shop, inspection, QC and purchasing departments. Will develop and implement new manufacturing processes in-house and assisting suppliers to reduce cost and improve lead times. A working knowledge of precision component manufacturing is required. Must have the ability to interpret GD&T requirements for manufacturing and design. Will interpret the functionality of piece parts utilized in mechanical assemblies. Should have a good understanding of manufacturing methods including Machining process, casting, heat treating etc. Candidate must have a Minimum of 3 years working in a Manufacturing Environment. A Bachelor Degree is required. Preferably experience in a machining environment where precision components are produced.
