· Assuring that QuEST understands the customer's expectations, and determine whether the quality requirements are satisfied
· Facilitating an environment of continual improvement in the quality system by interacting with representatives from all functional groups
· Applying process mapping techniques to define work flow and to optimize QuEST’s value stream
· Identify world-class targets for all engineering quality metrics and lead effort to track, achieve, and maintain them
· Conducting quality system awareness and tools training
· Collecting information on rework and inefficiency to prioritize continuous improvement projects
· Conducting and guiding root cause analyses and coordinating corrective and preventive actions
· Driving operational best practices which identify, streamline, and improve the critical-to-quality engineering and business processes
Requirements:
· Managerial experience in engineering and operations, preferably in an outsourced engineering or small company environment
· Four year degree, preferably in engineering; course work in problem-solving techniques is a plus
· Experience implementing quality systems such as Six Sigma, ACE, or TPS in engineering or business organizations
· Fluency in MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact with all levels of the organization
· Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to train, mentor, motivate, and coach others
· Strong work ethic
Compensation and Benefits:
· A highly competitive base salary is offered depending on the qualifications and experience of the candidate, with potential for additional incentive-based compensation.
· This position qualifies for full benefits: medical insurance, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401(K), tuition reimbursement, two weeks of paid vacation, and 10 paid holidays.
