Honeywell Aerospace is the world's premier supplier of aircraft engines and systems, avionics, and related products and services for commercial airlines, business and regional aircraft, and spacecraft.

 

The role of this position includes scheduling, tracking and managing Certified Employee audits of approximately 170 employees. Additional responsibilities for this position will be to support scheduling and performing of Product audits, Special Process Audits, QMS and 5s audits. This role will also be responsible for reporting and ensuring effective corrective action is taken. Other administrative duties will be directed by the manager.

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

·  Audits of records, procedures and Quality processes,

·  Analysis of data collected

·  Report to management on results of audit

·  Work with management to determine root cause and corrective action for defects found.

·  Assist Quality Management System engineer with effective implementation  and management of improvements in Aerospace procedures.

·  Ability to create and maintain action items from internal metrics

Requisite knowledge, skills and abilities for this position are:

 

Basic Qualifications Basic computer skills and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office,2 years of experience in manufacturing2 years experience in a quality or inspection role.

Additional Qualifications Organized and adept at filing & maintaining records and databases,Good oral and written communication skills.Ability to work with a diverse workforce,Familiar with Quality Standards ISO-9000/AS9100Able to work a flexible work schedule.Audit certification desired.
