Job Description –Quality Assurance Respresentative

 

 

 

Job Purpose:

 

1.0 Representative for VISIONEERING Quality Management System with responsibility and authority for ensuring that:

 

· the quality management system is established, implemented, understood and maintained in accordance with ASI9100 Rev B and VISIONEERING’s documented quality system.

 

· the performance of the quality system is regularly reviewed, and its continued effectiveness is reported to VISIONEERING’S executive management.

 

 

Principle Accountabilities:

 

2.0 Control and maintenance of the AS9100 Quality Systems.

 

3.0 Coordinating the Internal Audit System.

 

4.0 Maintenance of the Corrective Action System including Internal, External, Preventive and Customer Complaints.

 

5.0 Perform quality audits (self-surveys and on-site audits) as required.

 

6.0 Work with the supply base on continuous improvement through the application of quality tools and techniques.

 

7.0 Responsible for logging, monitoring and maintaining Corrective and Preventive Action Forms.

 

8.0 Maintenance of the supplier certification program including the supplier quality manual.

 

9.0 Interaction between suppliers and customers with regards to quality related issues, when necessary.

 

10.0 Maintenance of the Supplier Corrective Action System and the Supplier Quality Metrics.

 

12.0 Address non-conformities from previous internal and external audits.

 

13.0 Administer document control and configuration management system.

 

14.0 Assist the management team and provide QA support as necessary.

 

15.0 Work with the supply base on continuous improvement through the application of quality tools and techniques.

 

16.0 Application of Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing principles and techniques.

 

Required Abilities and Skills

 

17.0 Must be familiar with ISO9000 Auditing and/or AS9100.

 

18.0 Must be familiar with Statistical applications and analysis.

 

19.0 Good problem solving skills along with strong analytical knowledge and strong communication skills are necessary.

 

20.0 Requires strong interpersonal skills.
