Job Category: Administrative/Clerical BAE Systems is pleased to announce an opening for a Quality Assurance Representative supporting our operations at Fort Irwin, CA. Here are a few more details about the open position:Job Title: Quality Assurance RepresentativeSupporting: Technologies Solutions & ServicesTechnologies Solutions & Services of BAE Systems Inc. provides a full spectrum of systems engineering, technical services and ordnance systems to our customers in disciplines essential for successful systems development, operation, and maintenance.  Our full life-cycle systems capabilities include system design, integration and test, software development engineering, and maintenance and integrated logistics support. Position Details:QARs act as the Government's representative responsible for the overall quality management oversight of all actions taken by the maintenance contractors. They are responsible for performing initial, in-process and final inspections on a variety of military equipment to include, but not limited to, tactical wheeled vehicles, engineer equipment, combat weapons systems, communications equipment, and power generation equipment. QARs must understand not only his/her specific functions but also understand the contract requirements that the maintenance contractors work to. This ensures on behalf of the Government Project Officers and the Government QA Representatives that the best possible product is being given back to the troops. All of BAE's QARs must be technically proficient in inspection, diagnostics, fault isolation and repair of all major end items and assemblies, whereas mechanics are often singularly focused on a particular class of vehicle or equipment. Qualifications:Minimum of 5-10 years as a supervising mechanic and/or 5 plus years as a QAR on military wheeled or tracked vehicles.
