Minimum Qualifications/Education/Experience (or equivalent combination of experience and education):Ideal candidate shall possess a BS degree, plus a minimum of four (4) years of related work experience. Work related experience should demonstrate increasing levels of responsibility. Must be able to pass a background investigation. Skills Needed: Working experience with aerospace, military or commercial-based quality systems that includes rigorous systems and standards. Will need to be functional in quality management systems and other related standards. Will need to be functional in quality management systems (e.g. AS9100, ISO9001, TS16949 or equivalent). Must have integration environment experience and knowledge of processes/requirements for qualification for products. Must possess excellent written and oral communications, along with interpersonal skills that aid in achieving both primary and multi-departmental goals. Must have a work history of overall quality experience with six (6) or more continuous years with demonstrate knowledge of the high reliability workmanship standards and hardware/interfaces typical of the high tech industry. ASQ Certification (CQE) or Six Sigma training a plus. Software knowledge considered desirable includes MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Lotus Notes.Duties Specific to the Position:Candidate will review assembly drawings, test documentation, and inspection work instructions for proper incorporation of workmanship standards and inspection requirements. Will work with Engineering and Manufacturing staff to resolve integration issues. Will assist inspection staff with inspection operations and data review. Will initiate discrepancy reports, and participate in disposition and oversight of the containment/root cause/corrective action process along with internal and external customers. Will review/approve drawings. Will review data packages and prepare presentations for hardware acceptance reviews in preparation for source inspection. Other duties as assigned.EOE/M/F/V/D BS or equivalent experience and two years of related experience is required.
