The Proposal Coordinator will have the following responsibilities: Coordinates the functions and materials necessary to produce multi-volume proposals. The primary publications production functions include proposal development software support, editing, word processing, desktop publishing, graphic arts, and copying. Serves as customer interface and focal point to expedite production cycles and adherence to time sensitive schedules. Provides advice and direction to customers and production personnel about production issues and develops task/time schedules. Analyzes Requests For Proposals to determine proposal publications requirements and establishes proposal format. Coordinates the development and maintenance for a variety of proposal development initiatives, such as the Corporate Capabilities Resume and Total Quality Databases. Provides document control for the Proposal Library. Estimates scope of work to complete proposal tasks with tight time frames and budgetary guidelines. Edits text and graphics for content and grammar and performs research for company proposals. Provides proposal software functional assistance and training to Proposal Center personnel during proposal development activities. Performs all other duties as assigned.

Performs assignments requiring use of standard principles, techniques, and processes in the area of specialty. Significant internal customer interaction. May resolve complex problems and technical issues with little or no assistance.

Basic Qualifications:BS degree with 2 years of related experience. In lieu of formal education, 10 years of experience may be substituted. Knowledge about publishing techniques, including the ability to operate PC-based software and hardware and proposal packages.Knowledge of the proposal process. Demonstrates project management skills. Strong project management skills managing resources and schedules.Ability to translate goals into work assignments.Strong editorial skills.Strong customer relations skills.Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.
