Qualifications BS degree in appropriate technical discipline (advanced degree beneficial) 5 years experience in senior position on technical project Experience on Military/Government technical programs desirable Proficiencies in equipment design, controls, product development, manufacturing and testing desirable Exposure to advanced manufacturing technologies such as flexible manufacturing, cycle time reduction, and lean manufacturing Responsibilities Responsible for the technical execution of the project which will involve product development and design. Primary emphasis will be in developing concepts for the equipment, developing these concepts into preliminary design and evaluating prototypes which will ultimately be developed into manufacturingequipment for military/shipboard applications. Familiarity with CNC, automated manufacturing tools, manufacturing proceses, and robotic welding helpful.
