Project Manager

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Oversees and administers all facets of the day to day operations of the various projects and activitiesServe as primary liaison with internal and external customers on all matters relating to project activitiesProvide day to day problem solving as necessary on day to day project related needs and issuesPrimary contact for customer and outsourced resources when contract is awardedProvide support to the sales team, independent reps and distributorsProvide technical support to production teamsResearch technical requirements of projectsSourcing/Supplier research for special parts/itemsReview drawings and specificationsEstimate labor and material costs for associated Bill of Materials requirementsUpdate and maintain information in databaseDetermines material requirements and procurement lead timesControl of drawing Revisions and Engineering documentsCoordinate and monitor customer supplied partsProvide technical support to installation team as well as customersTrack out of scope items/workCoordinate the scheduling of DAR’s and DER’s with assistance from the Miami officeAll aspects of customer relations to include complaints, concerns, questions, troubleshootingAbility to work with sales, existing and new customers to access new opportunitiesAbility to obtain new referrals and up sell products from new and existing customers.Ability to foster a cooperative work environmentAbility to work effectively with diverse populations.Thoroughly review and understand customer SOW (Statement of Work), and or RFQ (Request for Quote).Creation of customer quotation, long proposals, and management of subsequent orders.Purchase Order review and management of subsequent execution to meet all requirements.Occasional travel to support programs may be required. Possible domestic and international locations as required.Ability to assess contract compliance and product/service quality.Monitor profit margins of projectsAbility to provide technical coordination and management of development and/or implementation projects in area of expertise.Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities.Knowledge of industry requirements.Ability to read and understand drawings/blueprints.Ability to multi-task Outstanding communication skills, both orally and in writing.Ability to resolve customer complaints and concerns.Skilled in the use of computers, preferably in a PC, Windows based operating environment.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:

 

Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.

No or very limited physical effort required.

No or very limited exposure to physical risk.

 

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

 

Bachelor’s Degree preferred with 2-5 years of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified

Aviation Background is preferred

Solid Organizational Skills

Effective verbal and written communication skills E.O.E.
