Description/Requirements:

Will provide technical leadership and directly participate in projects involving the design of valves for aerospace fuel and hydraulic applications.  Requires BSME with 5+ years experience in design engineering of electro-mechanical products. Must possess excellent writing skills, including letter and technical report writing, an organized, structured, planned approach to work with a logical and scientific approach to understanding and solving problems.  Also must have ability to effectively manage cross-functional teams and posses positive experiences in dealing directly with customer engineers.  Training and experience in project management and project management methods is required along with knowledge of ANSI Y14.5M Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing and mechanical manufacturing and assembly processes. Direct experience in design engineering of valves for aerospace fuel and hydraulic applications and the design of motor operated actuators is a plus.  Additional desirable attributes include, an interest in electrical engineering and simple motor control systems, training or experience in Value-Engineering, Pro-E capability, training or experience in Design for Manufacturing, knowledge of statistics and/or SPC, strong ability in stress or hydraulic analysis and Green-Belt Six-Sigma certification.
