Project Engineer - CA
JMWA is looking for an experienced Project Engineer! Description: Provide construction management services to client project office (primarily MILCON Projects). Provide technical solutions and conflict resolutions related to drawings and specifications including contractor RFIs. Prepare SOW for contract modifications. Perform Government Q/A activities such as: site inspections, testing, and coordination of exterior/interior utilities construction. Monitor documents and contract plans Prepare and assist in preparation of modifications, cost estimates, negotiations, and monthly status reports tracking construction contractor acitivities. Provide general overview of the EM 385-1-1 and OSHA safety standards Update Corps of Engineers database (i.e. RMS) Requirement(s)Must possess strong client relationship skills Ability to perform cost estimates, contract review/understanding, proficiently interpret drawings Adept at all phases of construction related processes 10 years minimum construction project management (MILCON strongly preferred) Valid U.S. driver’s license and auto insurance are required for this position. Education:Bachelor degree in an Engineering related field from an Accredited University. Professional engineering license and/or construction management certification preferred. J. M.
