Space Systems Division in Clifton, NJ, is looking for an experienced Project Engineer. In this position, you will act as the Project Manager/Lead Engineer overseeing one or more external subcontractors for the development and manufacturing of Mechanical RF products (Multiplexers, Microwave and Cavity Filters, RF Switches, Circulators). This individual will be the Lead Engineer for the Supplier Integrated Product Team and will be the direct technical interface (technical point-of-contact) between the Subcontractor and ITT. The Project Engineer will take day-to-day direction from the ITT Subcontract Manager.Responsibilities will include: - Conveying ITT expectations to the supplier- Initiating updates to performance specifications- ITT lead for design reviews of the supplier material- Reviewing design analyses and data submittals - Facilitate resolution of design and test concerns- Support of production related activities- Overseeing the technical direction of the supplier- Overseeing supplier schedule performance- Technical issue and failure resolution- Engaging additional technical resources as necessary________________________________________ Experience - External:- 10 to15 years of experience in engineering and engineering management with a masters in management or engineering preferred.- Strong background in RF Mechanical Engineering desired.- Knowledge of RF devices such as Multiplexers, Microwave and Cavity Filters, RF Switches, and Circulators for high reliability space applications. - Experience in Supplier Management required. - Experience with high reliability space systems desired.Travel of 75% will be required.ITT is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action Employer.
