Developing and documenting RTM/VARTM and associated composite processing concepts 2. Design and implementation of production tools/fixtures to support these composite processing concepts. 3. Generating work instructions, purchase orders and process documentation in-line with program requirements. 4. Support program communication, internally and externally. 5. Provide engineering/technical recommendations for continuous improvement of processing techniques. 6. Support periodic engineering/technical project updates as needed by customer. Required SkillsTooling/fixture design utilizing CAD/CAM software (Solidworks or equivalent). MSOffice proficient: Excellent written and oral communication. Good attention to detail work focus. Proven problem solving skills in teamwork setting. Willingness to perform “hands-on” work in dynamic work setting. Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.Required Experience
BS Engineering degree, ME/AE/EE preferred. Minimum 3 years experience in aerospace or composite industry. MRP/planning methodologies (SAP, Oracle, etc.). Aerospace composite manufacturing experience (i.e. 2D layup, RTM/VARTM, autoclave processing, fiber, fiber preforms). Understanding of Lean/Six Sigma principles. The successful candidate will be action oriented, results driven, possess strong decision-making skills, and be customer focused.
