UFA, Inc., headquartered in Woburn, Massachusetts,with offices in Maryland and Germany, is a global leader in developing Air Traffic Control simulation technologies. We provide simulation products to civil aviation, military, and university customers worldwide. We are seeking a motivated professional to join our team.An experienced, detailed ProjectAdministrator/Planner is sought to support the planning,tracking, analysis, and reporting of project milestones and budgets for software development contracts performed by UFA. This position will work directly with the company’s Program Managers (PMs), and will report to the Program Director (PD). This highly visible position within the organization will interact with staff across the entire company, including the Finance and Administration (F&A) department and Senior Staff.

 The position will be based in UFA’s headquarters in Woburn, MA.

The Project Administrator/Planner will:

-Develop and maintain Work Breakdown Structures (WBSs) and related dictionaries, schedules, actuals and budgets. -Establish and maintain cost/schedule baselines. -Support preparation of Program Management Review (PMR) material. -Organize and develop Project Reporting Procedures.-Work with UFA F&A to prepare charge numbers, plan revenue and address impact of contract performance on accounting issues. -Monitors project costs and commitments, schedule performance and performance against baseline. -Prepare written and verbal reports regarding cost and schedule variances. -Interface with Journy/x timesheet system to maintain hours by milestone andtask-Coordinate with F&A and PD/PMs on establishing system to track purchase/ inventory / delivery of required hardware/software, and when acquired and put into service-Develop and maintain staffing plans in concert with PD and PMs.

What You Need to Apply:

  Bachelor's degree required, MA/MBA or other advanced training in project management, contract management, finance or accounting is desirable. 3-5 years of experience performing project analysis and job tracking In depth knowledge of MS Project or other tracking/scheduling tools Team player with the ability to work with a variety of people at all levels of the organization. Strong written and oral communication skills. Ability and interest in professional growth. Knowledge of contract types to include Firm Fixed Price and Time & Materials
