Career opportunities are currently available at Rolled Alloys, a successful international specialty metals distributor for over 50 years, as a member production team at our Cincinnati, Ohio facility in the position of Programmer/Nester.
Duties will include various responsibilities such as:
- Programming and nesting through the conversion of engineering drawings to single part programs.
- Nesting single part programs to sheet metal.
- Inventory control through managing optimum utilization of sheet metal through parts nesting to customers’ schedules.
- Planning material for demand production, allowing for sufficient inventory
- Schedule expediting by understanding customers’ demand and coordinating production process.
- Supporting business activities (reviewing customer orders)
The successful candidates will possess:
- The capability to multi task and handle a fast paced work environment while paying attention to details
- Effective organizational, interpersonal and time management skills
- The ability to work with minimal supervision and a sense of self-direction to accomplish goals
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- A desire to succeed, both professionally and personally
- A demonstrated proficiency using Excel and nesting software, SigmaNEST preferred.
Prior experience in the metals industry is a definitive plus, but not a requirement.
