Job Description:Duties split between Java programming support for AVERT software development and modeling using AVERT. Programming responsibilities include planning, designing, coding, and testing Java programs.Modeling duties include research, analysis, data collection, and input, site design and implementation, simulation and documentation.
Education/Experience Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Masters Degree considered in lieu of 2 years experience; Bachelors Degree in related field considered together with relevant experience. Minimum 5 years programming experience, at least 3 years experience in modeling and simulation programming; Demonstrable expertise in programming 100% Java applications. Demonstrable expertise in modeling and simulation programming and program design. Demonstrable expertise with model development and simulation, preferable agent-base modeling.; DoD / DoE Clearance Preferred. U.S. Citizenship Required.
