As a key member of the U.S. Army's Future Combat Systems (FCS) Team, GS will help ensure the future success of U.S. soldiers on the battlefield developing and demonstrating five Manned Ground Vehicles that are part of the family of systems for FCS, including support for the Non-Line-of-Sight Cannon in 2008. GS fulfils another key role on FCS as the developer of the Armed Robotic Vehicle in two variants. These critical weapons will be the first in a new line of combat vehicles and systems that will empower soldiers through unmatched firepower, situational awareness and survivability. GS is also developing and delivering integrated survivability technologies from body armor inserts to active protection systems that provide a new level of soldier survivability and combat vehicle performance. Responsible for managing International M113 Programs across the entire product lifecycle. These programs will be executed out of Santa Clara, CA.. This person will be responsible for cost, schedule and performance on International Programs related to the upgrade of the M113 Platform. This individual will be accountable for contract financials, schedule, quality, performance, and customer satisfaction on international programs. Will ensure that all contractual requirements are meet within budget and schedule. This individual is also responsible for all BAE Systems compliance requirements on International Projects including Lifecycle Management and the Operational Framework. Will act as a primary interface to the customer and is responsible for customer relations. Will manage functional organizations through the successful completion of international upgrade programs. Must have a good understanding of engineering and manufacturing process in order to manage development activities, material procurement, and vehicle upgrade operations. Must be able to coordinate across multiple disciplines to ensure that projects are executed successfully. This individual must be highly motivated, organized, and dedicated. This person will be required to travel internationally.
