Program Integrator/Test Director

The duty location for the program integrator is at Cairns Army Airfield, Fort Rucker, AL. The person serving in this position will be part of a government/contractor team who will represent ATTC via daily interfaces with the assigned Project Manager?s Offices (PMOs). As such, the person in this position will provide expert engineering support in the area of U.S. Army Aviation developmental flight testing to the Redstone/Huntsville research, development, test and evaluation (RDT&E) community to include test coordination, business development services, and the following duties:a.Serves as the principal liaison between ATTC and the supported AMCOM/PEO-AVN program offices.b.Provides engineering advice and assistance to the assigned AMCOM/PEO-AVN Program Manager (PEO-PM), engineers, technicians, and other personnel concerning ATTC test capabilities, test planning, airworthiness release requirements, test parameters, cost estimates, testing alternatives, and aircraft modifications.c.Negotiates the test scope, controversial test requirements, and procedures with developers, manufacturers, and the Aviation Engineering Directorate (AED) within AMCOM?s Research, Development, and Engineering Center. The primary purpose of these negotiations is to resolve disputed test requirements and technologies necessary to test new aviation equipment, and to limit or at least quanitify the accuracy of the required data.d.Coordinates and facilitates new test requirements from the assigned PMOs with ATTC.e.Utilizes an interdisciplinary approach to solve difficult and complex professional engineering and developmental test problems.QualificationsEducation/Experience/Skills Required:?BS degree in technical field desired.?MS degree in electronic/electrical/aerospace/mechanical engineering or physics is desirable.?Five years of experience preferred in testing aircraft and aircraft systems. ?Previous experience as a U.S. Army aviator is desirable.?Have demonstrated the capability to manage test programs preferred.?Experience with DOD Acquisition/test documentation to include test plans, test reports, test and evaluation master plans (TEMPs), operational requirements documents (ORDs), statements of work (SOWs), and airworthiness releases (AWRs) highly desirable.?Must be able to communicate orally and in writing with government and contractor personnel.
