Coordinates and monitors program activities as assigned. Analyzes financial data such as actual vs. budgets, cost trends, etc. and performs basic analysis. Identifies problems and recommends solutions. This role provides direct support to assigned programs and/or proposals giving assistance in the management details of the programs and/or proposals (cost reports, estimates to complete, budget releases, and bid/estimate preparation and pricing). The Program Financial Analyst II will complete special assignments as required in support of the program, such as preparation of program/financial detailed reports. Actively participates in bid preparation and review, determines cost/price realism and supports negotiations to verify the accuracy and scope of the various segments of all bid cost elements. Reviews cost factors to ensure consistency with company policy and past and current actual performance levels. Prepare data necessary to support make or buy decisions. Assists the Program Manager and team in handling daily operating problems as they affect program costs and overall financial position. The position will be responsible for ensuring that all financial reporting requirements are met in a timely manner which is consistent with contractual obligations and company policies. Prepares and evaluates special financial analyses as might be required for effective program execution. Education Required: B.S. Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance.Experience Required: Minimum five year's business or accounting experience with an exposure to Engineering, Manufacturing, and Finance. Direct ITT experience and working knowledge of engineering terminology desirable.Knowledge required: Moderate understanding of accounting principles and general application. Experience with Microsoft Office (with an emphasis on Excel and Project) pricing and financial management tools. Moderate knowledge of Earned Value Management, Cost Accounting Standards, and Federal Acquisition Regulations. Must have good written and verbal communications skills. Requires aptitude for detailed work, data analysis and follow-up.
