Will conduct both logistics and programmatics analyses in support of the Apache Longbow Performance Based Logistics (PBL) program. Will research, collect, organize, and present data required to plan Apache PBL program requirements and to fulfill HQDA PBL program reporting requirements. Will review and provide comments regarding monthly program management reports received from Apache Longbow Original Equipment Prime Manufacturers. Will participate in various PBL analysis and program management activities ranging from cost / benefit analyses to planning and coordinating program funding requirements for support of organic depot transition demands. Will support analyses of wartime OPTEMPO contract requirements and develops recommendations to resolve issues. Participates in PBL supportability IPT meetings. Will support Apache Longbow Alpha Contracting activities as necessary. Will support data collection and analysis activities that are a part of PBL Business Case Analysis activities. Basic Requirements: A minimum of 10 years of related military or government civilian experience in the application of life cycle logistics concepts in support of DoD weapons systems. A basic understanding of Performance Based Logistics concepts and current US Army PBL planning and reporting requirements is required. A basic understanding of programmatic contracting processes utilized to acquire PBL support from original equipment manufacturers is also required. A basic understanding of statutory requirements associated with program funding restrictions, to include use of Army Working Capital Funds is required. A basic understanding of statutory requirements that impact PBL program planning for the use of organic DoD depots in support Apache Longbow Life Cycle Logistics requirements is required. Preferences: Military and/or DoD civilian aviation logistics experience is considered a plus. Acquisition level certifications considered a plus.
