Production Planner

Responsibilities· Traffic management and coordination of units through final configuration for shipment. · Production planning responsibilities including kitting, production schedule, and finished goods inventory management · Optimize production plan to fulfill the customer orders and efficiently utilize the production capacity. · Make and adjust daily production schedule to ensure customer orders being fulfilled on time. · Coordinate customer expedite requests from production through shipping to ensure customer satisfaction.· Manage communication and expediting of shortages through inspection and purchasing.· Participate in Cycle Counting and reconciliation of inventory on hand balances as required.· Support shipping and receiving function – overflow and vacation relief.· Determine future needs and make a plan accordingly to optimize inventory and production. Qualifications· BS/BA degree or equivalent experience.· Ability to learn/master resource planning system. · Strong customer service skills.· Demonstrated written & verbal communication skills. · Analytical & problem solving skills - results oriented. · Ability to work in cross functional team environment.· Proficiency with Microsoft office programs.· Minimum of 3 years working experience preferably in production planning, logistics or SCM DesirableExperience with ORACLE database management system software highly desirable.
