Production Coordinator - WIP, JIT, POUDescription: Production Coordinator Inventory Requirements, Work in Process, WIP, Just In Time, JIT, Point of Use, POUThe world's leading Aerospace company has a contact position available for a Production Coordinator to work out of its San Antonio office.JOB DUTIES:The Production Coordinator: Processes and moves products and other materials in and out of storage, production and other locations, to support complex production and product support activities, flight test(s), etc. Expedites activities to include: Parts Ordering Prioritizing property movement Scheduling parts delivery times Property status retrieval Monitors and analyzes work in process. Communicates status of parts and materials using automated systems and manual reporting methods to insure parts availability. Identifies and solves problems and/or discrepancies of limited scope with parts and materials using established procedures or processes. Coordinates with various functions to set priorities, as well as expedite and complete production activities to avoid schedule delays. Works under general supervision.Recognizes a variety of issues, problems, and/or opportunities in own and occasionally in other work groups and determines whether action is needed.Identifies the need for and collects information to better understand issues, problems, and opportunities. Generally integrates information from a variety of sources. Detects general trends, associations, and cause-effect relationships. Creates relevant options for addressing problems/opportunities and achieving desired outcomes. Generally formulates clear decision criteria. Evaluates options by considering implications and consequences. Chooses an effective option.
