For more information, visit us online at www.hlpsolutions.com WORK HOURS: 8:00 - 5:00TRAVEL REQUIRED: NORATE: 30.00/hrJOB DUTIES: Reviews proposals, contracts, regulatory, program and customer requirements ensuring early quality involvement in program development.Assures program, contract, customer, regulatory requirements, international standards and working agreements are deployed.Identifies root cause of problems.Participates with stakeholders to develop potential preventive or corrective actions and implementation. Uses statistical methods and quality tools to continuously improve process capability.Conducts quality source selection and process reviews of suppliers ability to meet program quality requirements and support business decisions.Conducts hardware, software and system level audits to determine compliance with quality management system standards, configuration assurance, related business, regulatory and customer requirements.Analyzes data to provide material review dispositions for nonconforming materials, parts and equipment.JOB SKILLS: The candidate needs to have knowledge and experience with industry standards ISO, CMMI, and IEEE standards, (AS9100 and military standards are a plus).The candidate needs to have audit experience and knowledge in an ISO, CMMI, or similarly structured environment, (AS9100 audit experience is a plus).The candidate should have auditor training in ISO, or ASQ type of certificate, (certification a plus).The candidate needs to understand contractual guidance documents, e. g. SOW, CDRLs, PDRLs, FCAs and PCAs. (Knowledge of ECOs and technical drawing packages is plus.) The candidate needs to understand the product life cycle (SW and/or hardware).The candidate should understand root casual analysis, and have knowledge of the Corrective Action Requests cycle and preventative actions.The candidate should have knowledge of configuration management principles.The use of ClearQuest and ClearCase a plus.The candidate should have experience in working with vendors and supplier agreements as well as technical drawing packages and the QA review of the packages.Develops solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Refers to policies, procedures, and practices for guidance.Works under general supervision. Products are reviewed for sound judgment and overall adequacy and accuracy.Contributes to the completion of organizational projects and goals.
