Product & Marketing Manager - Cabin Services
The Cabin Services Product & Marketing Manager is responsible for the overall profitability of a service product throughout the service product life cycle including the evaluation of globalization opportunities and product improvements. The successful candidate will understand and embrace opportunities to implement the service product improvement initiatives, while ensuring that the service product offerings and service product changes are aligned with the overall product strategy. The Cabin Services Product & Marketing Manager also develops new product strategies and roadmaps, while ensuring execution on current services product strategies and roadmaps. The Cabin Services Product & Marketing Manager develops value propositions and partners with both business and functional resources to drive strategy execution. This position will interface regularly with the Product Managers, Marketing Managers, as well as business and functional leaders. Specifically:
Responsible for the service product life cycle profitability, cost and globalizationCurrent services product portfolio management and accountabilityResponsible for services product performance and integrityResponsible for major services product prioritization and change, as well as managing funding of the changesEnsure the service product greensheet fits within the overall services product strategy and pricing guidelinesDevelop capital allocation plans, and COG sold plansDevelop cost reduction strategiesTeam to provide recommendations on catalog pricingLeads Services Product Team(s) related to area of responsibilityDevelop integrated services product, technology, and environment roadmapsDevelop value propositionsPerform customer needs analysisCollaborate with the business units to perform product voice of the customerDevelop and understand custom total cost of ownershipDevelop and execute strategic plansScreen and prioritize growth opportunitiesDetermine strategic pricing Basic/Required Qualifications:
Minimum Education Level: Bachelor's Degree in marketing, business or engineering
Minimum Years of Experience: 5 years of experience managing and promoting high technology services and products from inception through sunset
Preferred Qualifications:
MBA preferred5 years experience managing and promoting high technology services and products from inception through sunset Experience in developing and executing strategy and growth plans for new products and new market applicationsSuccess in managing through influence and persuasion in a highly matrixed structureProven ability to influence and lead large, diverse teams from various internal and external organizationsAbility to think strategically and to scope tasks and set goalsStrong business-to-business analytical, financial, strategic thinking and marketing skillsKnowledge of Aerospace business allowing for innovative concepts and promotion of new ideasBroad aerospace service and product knowledge is desirableStrong written and presentation communication skillsCustomer contact experience desiredProven track record executing marketing projects and programsStrong written and presentation communication skillsGreen Belt Certification
